Business outlook
Pros
Chill work culture. High level of experts in their field. Strong international community; common to work with teams across countries/continents. Great facilities. Very professional work environment while managing to not be overly formal. They put their money where their mouth is; pay/bonuses were tied to company goals including hiring metrics.
Cons
Pay does not keep up with costs. Raises and promotions are hard to come by. I watched several colleagues get higher responsibilities/titles, but no pay raise because "it wasn't in the budget." Layoffs will happen every 6 months.
