Cons
In assembly, you will never have work life balance. People do not respect other's rest time. They expect engineers to respond to work, or to do work during weekend, night time, and when you are on medical leave. Employees that are great in socializing with top management but do lesser, are promoted faster than other employees that work hard and contribute more. There is no recognition from management. When you did some good improvement, the management team will not recognize your effort. They will tell you that you should improve more and more. This is not good enough. The working environment in Assembly is very toxic.
