Pros

- The team itself was lovely - Status of working for the NSPCC - Company values

Cons

- Disability inclusion feels more like branding than reality. - Significant gap between stated EDI values and employees' lived experiences. - Poor support for disabled employees. - Bullying and intimidation from senior management. - Excessive micromanagement and lack of trust in staff. - Performance management processes that feel inconsistent and unfair. - Culture of fear rather than support. - Lack of psychological safety when raising concerns. - Feedback and staff expertise frequently ignored. - Endless review cycles that delay progress and stifle innovation. - Too many meetings with little meaningful outcome. - Senior managers protected while frontline staff carry the workload. - Poor leadership accountability and no meaningful accountability for harmful management behaviour. - Staff wellbeing appears to be a lower priority than organisational reputation. A workplace culture that severely damaged my confidence and mental wellbeing. While working here I witnessed multiple colleagues being bullied by a particular person. They all left for the sake of their own confidence. This said person has survived a restructure and is still in a senior position working for the NSPCC despite the clearly documented accounts of bullying not only by myself but several others. For the sake of your confidence: DO NOT WORK HERE.
