Pros
I've worked here for several years now and it's a very pleasant environment to be in every day. Especially for a software developer. We follow the agile process quite well which leads to a calm and controlled workflow. There are production problems which need to be addressed as they crop up but there's a very good team mentality where everyone is prepared to lend a hand to get jobs done. There is a nice social side to the job too with regular events organised for us - nights out for the Jazz, treasure hunts, bowling etc. The free food is good. Kitchen is always fully stocked. And I get free health care, and pension contribution.
Cons
There was a redundancy process which we went through in 2016 as part of a reorganisation of whatever group the company is part of, which meant that several people had to leave, which obviously wasn't great. But almost 2 years on, it is a very different place to work. The issues which led to the redundancies are long solved and the company now seems to have a very clear and bright future.
