Pros
-Company is growing which gives all employees the opportunity to have their voices heard. I've been able to participate on committees and propose some valuable changes to policies and procedures -Flexible(ish) schedules and bonus opportunities -Staff is friendly and we can use resources from other markets to help us brush up on skills, etc. Everyone seems to be willing to collaborate.
Cons
-Sometimes clients can be located in areas that are farther away from my home, which makes me have to drive longer. They usually try to manage drive times and give me clients closer to the area which I live in, but every once in a while I get a 45 min drive. I guess it's the luck of the draw. -Not as many benefits as a larger firm, but we're getting there. We recently started getting 401k match and they seem to be making more efforts to do team building, give us company "swag", etc. -Brand is not as well recognized. It's growing and more people are starting to know what we do, but if you are looking for the immediate brand recognition of a big firm, this might not be the place for you Overall, the firm experiences traditional growing pains that are not unlike those that you would experience at other firms. I think it takes a special kind of mindset to work in a company like Now CFO, and it may not be a good fit for those who just want to lay low and get their work done without being expected to be a part of something larger.
