Pros
I worked two Saturdays a month as a teacher for their middle school program. The organization is like a family, everyone who works there is so kind and welcoming. The kids are great--smart, dedicated, and truly happy to be there. And the mission of the organization, to prepare the kids of Newark for college and beyond, is not just noble, but actualized. I have friends who are alum of the program who have gone on to become leaders in their community.
Cons
I worked early in the development of the middle school program, so some of the kinks were still being worked out.
