Pros

Good salary if this is your first job related to your studies. (There are no career opportunities, and salaries are exclusively determined by the level of education bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD.) Good working environment with colleagues. After a short period (3-6 months), you can work remotely.

Cons

They hire you as a freelancer, but you have to work as a full-time employee, dealing with the downsides of both. Only 12 salaries per year. Working hours are 10:00-18:00. Many bureaucratic procedures (to start, to get paid, to go remote, etc.). The hybrid working model is not allowed, nor is working remotely from another country. If you are not from Ioannina, you have to relocate, and the company may choose not to renew your contract after the initial 3-month period, without compensation. (This happen actually and it's sad). You must announce your resignation months in advance. The contract has many restrictions that they do not inform you about until you actually see them in the contract. They don’t care about the position you applied for. They will hire you and place you wherever they want. There is a high chance you will have zero interest or knowledge in the job assigned to you. They hire mathematicians or physicists to work with Excel, as translators in support, or as full-stack developers.
