Pros
Great colleagues, interesting work, travel means the job has a lot of upsides. The work is varied and leads to a good knowledge of a variety of areas, however this is all informal self-directed learning.
Cons
Management is very conservatively Japanese and there is limited opportunity for development. Being on-call 24/7 is not conducive to being able to plan your life well.
