Pros
-Very easy to get hired for those looking for their first job in retail. - Training is straight forward -If you have a good team you'll get by fine. -uniform allowance/ staff discount
Cons
- Poor wage - Shifts can change within 24 hours without a phone call alerting employees to the change (so be very strict with your availbe shift time) -A single (or several) bad managers can ruin this job -Depending on the mananger they may try to dictate the clothes you pick for your uniform allowance. - Stockroom was a lot more relaxed than working on the floor, so I would recommend that job - Mandatory Christmas eve and boxing day shifts, with a threat of termination otherwise.
