      Pros

      In the areas I have worked at in NBCUniversal - NBC New York and Oxygen - I have not been treated like a stereotypical intern. I have been treated like an employee who has been entrusted with real responsibility and it has been a great learning experience.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, not all internship experiences will be like mine. I know of several production internships where you fetch people coffee and food and don't learn much.

      - Return to office mandate caused our team to lose a lot of great people and hasn't quite recovered since - Many, many, re-orgs within the last 3 years
