Bureaucracy. It takes months to get anything done. Yet meanwhile, much of the internal process is shambolic. Finance and HR functions are resource-starved and hence slow and sloppy. I have several colleagues whose Visa applications were 'lost' or otherwise wrecked by HR. And I was amused to be told I'd spent $500k on personal train tickets in one month...
