The company is remote work friendly.

The compensation offered to Junior software engineers is shockingly low - it's hard to believe that anyone would offer just $15/hour. HR might justify this meager salary by referencing industry standards, but it is clearly insufficient. Despite HR's attempts to present the company as a major player, the pay scale falls short. It appears that promotions are handed out to those who are more likely to acquiesce rather than those who possess technical expertise or experience. The job titles seem to be arbitrary and hold no real significance. Under the new CEO, employees are being relentlessly pressured to produce maximum output, with little acknowledgement or praise. It seems that all the recognition and rewards are reserved for the sales department. Taking time off is practically out of the question.

Until we can meet, I do want to verify that NAVEX does not have a job title of Junior Software Engineer. A first-year engineer with our team holds the job title of Associate Software Engineer and base pay of $72,500 annually. Within our Compensation Resource Center, you can also view the starting level of pay and associated job title for all software engineer roles. Thank you for sharing your feedback on this forum. Team Culture Flexible Schedule (hybrid model) Entry level pay is great

Cons

The position that was presented during the hiring process was not the position that was ultimately delivered. Employees have very little influence over organizational decisions; the prevailing message is to either accept ongoing changes or move on. The company sets exceptionally high performance expectations but does not appear to fully recognize how constant organizational changes, limited job security, frequent separations and internal restructuring, and unmet commitments can directly impact employees' ability to succeed. These factors create significant obstacles to achieving the standards the company expects.
