Great benefits e.g pension and annual leave; Really good pay; Friendly team; Progress is achievable if you push Fitbit and work hard; When you’ve worked in other ‘corporate’ jobs you can appreciate the dynamic. No pay progression based on performance reviews. No KPIs or stressful demands. Supportive environment; Get to see deer running past the window sometimes!
Cons
I wish it was a bit more sociable. You don’t really get to know other teams very well and feel a bit separated; Office is in the middle of Lickey Hills so nowhere to go on your lunch break which can feel isolating if you’re used to working in a city centre; Employer not flexible enough - hopefully this is something which is starting to change; Sometimes old fashioned in their working practices.
