Pros

Brokers have basically full autonomy and the ability to build their own business without too much direct oversight. No real management sales quotas but you need to be showing evidence of production. Good office culture and client-focused approach to brokerage.

Cons

Your income is completely dependent on you, if you do not put in the work to grow your network and actively seek out deals, you won't succeed. There is very little safety net. Also, some better company benefits would be very appreciated.

Pros

Good communication with employees (Gong Monthly Meeting, Weekly Huddles with Property Management teams), catered food, and a nice office in the Galleria area. Employees can invest in different investment funds with a minimum requirement of $10k (typically only offered to institutional investors). Strong passion for growth.

Cons

Rigid old school policies (first 90 days probation with no PTO). Poorly prepared to offer property accounting to clients. Needs more Accounting leadership in place to train, organize, and build out processes. Needs to review client financials with more scrutiny before onboarding. Needs to be realistic with clients if they don't have the enough staff and knowledge-base in-house.
