Pros

Hybrid work schedule was a plus but even this was drowned out by all of the other problems here.

Cons

There are a lot of problems with N4 Solutions. It all really stems from poor management. Those in the position of power at this company do not know how to lead, they only know how to demand authority. It was very difficult to see hardworking staff be treated poorly and emotionally abused by the so called “management” at this company. The micromanagement is so bad, every little thing needed to be approved; I couldn’t send an email without it being critiqued and rewritten. There is no level of trust or respect for employees, not even a morsel of autonomy for everyday tasks. One minute late to a meeting? Expect a message asking where you are or a snide side comment about how you’re the last person to join. Their PTO policy is also very deceiving. PTO hours replenish every pay period, however, your PTO requests are likely to get rejected by management whenever they feel like it. Regardless of whether or not your work is in a good spot, they will reject your requests and actually ask you to let them know before you purchase vacation travel or accommodations to make sure it works for them… Like other reviews here, I can confirm they make you track all of your hours for every single task you do. They also require every employee to send a clock in/clock out email for time tracking because they’re too lazy to purchase a time tracking software. It’s very strange and very annoying to receive those emails every single morning. Also, don’t get me started on the work/life balance. It was very normal for employees to be encouraged to work long hours. It was normal for employees to arrive at work at 7am and leave at 7pm. They encourage it by awarding employees stupid plaques as a “thank you” for exceeding your minimum work requirements. You will be silently judged if you refuse to work longer hours than required. It was very rare to receive praise or a simple “good job” so why would you want to work overtime for fun? Unless you set clear boundaries, you and your time will be taken advantage of. While I only worked here for a short while, it was very traumatizing to have a manager who didn’t know how to manage and treated me very poorly. They were very emotional and stress-driven and would constantly call and text my personal phone number instead sending communications through Microsoft Teams. They also weren’t afraid to constantly bother employees under them for things because they were “used to it.” Re-doing work was a common issue (lack of efficiency) and every task always seemed like an emergency. The prioritization and communication amongst team members was really ineffective and inefficient. When problems happened, manager would blame and then complain that they have to do more work in order to “fix” things due to my negligence. There were constantly problems whenever I stood up for myself about issues and it definitely felt like they try to push you out if you don’t want to kneel and obey. Favoritism was a big thing in this office and if you are not liked or you don’t act like a good worker ant, then your time here will be very miserable. HR is respectful but is always on management’s side, even if they don’t agree, so not helpful by any means. If you’re looking for a role where you’re just told what to do every day and you don’t want to think for yourself, then this is perfect for you. If you have some self respect and a brain then definitely do not join N4 Solutions as they’ll suck out any sort of individuality, autonomy, and creativity you may have until you fit in with everyone else.

Pros

some staff were a joy to work with.

Cons

Working at N4 Solutions was one of the most toxic experiences of my career. The management is beyond micromanaging—they interfere with every task, criticize without offering constructive feedback, and create a culture of fear and negativity. Employees are overworked, often putting in excessive overtime without proper compensation. There is no structure, no clear processes—just constant chaos. Projects are assigned without direction, and when you try to take initiative, you’re blocked by unnecessary interference. Management frequently speaks poorly about other employees, fostering a toxic environment that damages morale. The turnover rate is incredibly high—it’s a revolving door of employees who leave as soon as they realize what they’ve walked into. Instead of addressing the root issues, management continues the same destructive patterns, leading to instability and low morale. The most frustrating part? After all the stress and scrutiny, I found out that clients actually loved the work we produced—meaning the constant criticism from leadership was unnecessary and demoralizing. This job took a serious toll on my mental and physical well-being, and I’m still recovering. If you value your health, work-life balance, and professional growth, I strongly recommend staying far away from this company.
