They offer remote work from anywhere in the world

My expectations were physically impossible to reach from the beginning. After a week of working there (and receiving about 2 hours total of training) I was asked when we would be able to meet the extremely unrealistic expectations they set. I hadn't even had time to meet 95% of my coworkers or even figure out what was going on. They had 0 processes. After my work didn't live up to their unrealistic expectations, my pay was cut by a whopping 45% (they claimed it was 25%, but never gave me any of the "bonuses" that made up my "salary"). In addition, they also multiplied my workload 10x. No one cares about you, the only thing they care about is meeting their KPIs. There is literally no culture in this place and through the several months I spent there my job was threatened countless times. I was told I was doing a good job/received positive feedback probably 1 or 2 times. They also fully mistreat the creators they work with. They will offer a price for a creator collaboration, and if the creator's post doesn't perform to expectation they will fully pull out of paying them. This attitude will be mirrored for your performance as well; the team will tell you that you have great ideas, but if your ideas don't produce results they'll then say it was a terrible idea to begin with. Drop any hopes of work/life balance. You'll have to wake up super early or stay up late to communicate with the international team...and expect an extremely high level of stress that will keep you awake at night. They set the expectation of going "viral" with a product that literally (at code level) copies every other product on the market. No one will be able to tell you what their product does best because not even they know. The best thing they do is hype themselves up and deny that their own product is the problem. Really glad I never have to think about working for this company again, 0/10.
