Pros

I have been with the company for a little over two years at the point I am writing this review. During my time, I have worked on some of the most exciting tasks that often required a lot of creativity to get done. The number of things I learned has been unmatched by any other company that I worked on before. While it is indeed a lot of work and often there is a lot of stress, tasks here feel more like a problem I am curious to solve than annoying, repetitive work. Colleagues are also highly motivated, which creates an almost addictive atmosphere of getting things done together. - A lot of the most exciting tasks I have ever worked at - Fast access to new tools with almost no buerocracy - A lot of creativity (more than any other job I have worked at before) - Extreme commitment of the leadership - Exciting collaborations - Highly motivated and hardworking team

Cons

- A lot of work (although most of the time work is very exciting) and stress

Pros

MyelinZ is a genuinely mission-driven company working on a hard, meaningful problem in brain and body health. As a software engineer, you get a lot of ownership and the chance to ship real product quickly, with exposure to a broad tech stack (mobile, backend, data, and sometimes ML/biometrics depending on the role). The team is ambitious, collaborative, and open to new ideas, and you learn a lot simply by being close to the product and users. If you enjoy early-stage environments, you’ll find the work energising and the pace exciting.

Cons

As with most early-stage startups, priorities can shift quickly, and some processes are still being built. Timelines can be aggressive, and you may need to context-switch across tasks. Workload is very intense, so it's not ideal if you prefer a slower pace or very structured corporate processes.

Pros

I worked with the company for a little over a year. Over the course of my time here, I got to work on a number of very interesting tasks. Not only did they help me learn a lot technically, they also helped me think creatively and work through problems that did not have a clear cut answer. No day was the same as the one before and every day contained a new learning opportunity.
One thing to keep in mind is that the workload is high. They are a fast-growing startup and with that comes a lot of pressure to deliver under time-constraints which sometimes required long hours and work on the weekends. However, during this time, my skills grew immensely and my accomplishments and good work was rewarded well.
The team is absolutely amazing - they are incredibly smart and talented and despite the pressure, always willing to lend a helping hand and help you learn if you are curious about something. So much of my learning happened because they were patient and happy to teach me whatever I was curious about. The feedback loop is very good, everyone’s required to test the games and provide feedback which is acted upon. You can pitch ideas and they are heard and seriously considered and you will also receive honest, actionable feedback about your work.
The founders are incredibly committed as well - they work round the clock and are always available to reach out to. They also provided a lot of guidance and support through my journey.

Cons

One thing to keep in mind is that the workload is high. They are a fast-growing startup and with that comes a lot of pressure to deliver under time-constraints which sometimes required long hours and work on the weekends.
