Pros

Great Benefits Great potential for growing if the Management teams changes are people are held accountable for there work or lack there of and learn from their mistakes.

Cons

Management Teams are not on the same page and constantly trying to implement new procedures and ides but they never follow through. The Managers are a joke and come to work high or emotional. They try to pretend to be your 'Friend' to manipulate and use you to their benefit.

Pros

Awesome colleagues who are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Good work/life balance with flexible scheduling available. Management is always open and receptive to hearing suggestions for improvement. Fabulous opportunities for career advancement if you take initiative and demonstrate measurable improvements.

Cons

There are growing pains as there always will be when a company grows faster than expected. There is often a lack of communication between departments but it is being worked on.

Pros

Steady pay check, decent benefits, the company is growing, though I'm not sure if thats really a good thing. Support department is good, but they have to be because of all the issues customers have to deal with when using My Vision Express. HR is pretty organized, and apparently the sales people are doing a good job.

Cons

Incompetent managers who would rather lie and blame employees than take responsibility for their own mistakes. Working with legacy software in PowerBuilder which has been outdated from the beginning. A complete lack of organization in development (The new version of the main product was supposed to be out a year ago and is still largely unfinished despite several new hires). Their job ads for developers say that you'll be working in C# .NET with ASP MVC, but there is a good chance that you'll end up doing bug fixes in the PowerBuilder IDE because there are just so many issues with My Vision Express. Management has been claiming for years that they are planning to move the PowerBuilder product to C# .NET, but it has always been a lie. It's so far gone now that such a move is near impossible without several years of development time and a competent team of developers, neither of which they have.
