Pros

We have a beautiful facility and more financial and institutional resources at our disposal than many other local institutions.

Cons

-new/dissenting opinions are not always welcome with senior leadership -pay based on comparable positions even though many of the unique successful programs and offerings' success is due to the unique personnel that is overqualified based on comparable positions -decisions are often made before asking for opinions from the impacted departments

Pros

The museum is super cool, if you like museums and music. I would go and walk the museum quite a bit and be transported into a musical world for a few moments. The Music Theater gets a lot of really good artists for its size, so the shows really showcase excellent music and performances in a very acoustical correct space.

Cons

Unfortunately there has been a large decline in the management. A boss that would sit across from you and not listen to a thing you say and leave, and then come back a few days later to have the same conversation like we never had it. Also for some reason I was a safe place to talk about the pitfalls of my coworkers. It was hard because my coworkers genuinely did a good job at their jobs and helped me in keeping the 320+ shows in the space going. I had to keep the comments of a boss to myself as not to rock the boat.
