Pros

This kind of internship is great for the photographer who wants to gain experiences, see more artwork and building up the relationship with new artists and managers from galleries. Also, event photographers don't need to go to the office. Just upload all jpg files via email. For working hour: Normally, opening reception shows will start at 6 or 7 pm. until 9-10pm All of the images will be event photographer's credit on the website ( Art Out section )

Cons

Sometimes, there is trouble when I got in the show that audiences need to pay to come in. They don't provide any the press pass for photographers and not a lot of staff from galleries know this magazine. This is an unpaid internship but can keep legal OPT visa for the graduated international student.

Pros

I’m not sure what would have happened if I stuck around, but I did find that it expanded my interest in fine art photography.

Cons

Editor-In-Chief has really high expectations for unpaid students. Staff meetings are high pressure, but only because the Editor can be critical. Be prepared with backup story ideas, but also be prepared to have them shot down. It can feel like you’re walking on eggshells at times when Editor is upset. I’ve worked many jobs, and I promise there are better bosses/mentors out there. The credibility you might gain from this I don’t think is worth the exploitation or the stress.
