Pros

Fun co-workers, snacks, casual work attire, free pizza every week.

Cons

I worked for Mural full-time for 7 months and the only reason I stayed was it payed the bills until I could find a better, more trustworthy and efficiently run company to work for. The first month or two I was there the company seemed to have itself together. In that beginning, management was more worried about activating products for customers and actual customer service than sales. The third or fourth month is when things changed pretty dramatically. All of a sudden the laid-back atmosphere the company had was gone. Things became more tense, scripted, sales oriented, and the company became significantly less transparent. This changed for everybody, even those who had been there before me. HR was also pretty shady at times. An inconsistent pay schedule that doesn't make sense, a mistake that affected half the office and resulted in a reduction, and a really insane hour booking system that makes you question if you're really getting all the hours you worked. They will absolutely start you off part-time, but less than 29 hours so they can avoid giving you health benefits. When you are part-time you will never go over 29 hours, period. I was very lucky in getting my full-time position. A lot of the computers run unlicensed versions of windows and there aren't enough computers to go around. Some days there is a chance you may not even be able to take the appointments assigned to you. Meanwhile the other 10 unrelated projects downstairs get all the new equipment and priority, even though the department I worked for was the biggest and the one that brought in the money. Speaking of, this position is partnered through a major cable/internet company that deals with very sensitive information. I was never offered any sort of customer information policy to sign. I could go on about the other possibly illegal things this company is doing, but hopefully I've given a view of what it's like to work at Mural. This position is just not worth the time anymore and will not improve. Management doesn't see what's wrong at all, or they do and just ignore it. The company will be gone within a year with the way it's being run. Look elsewhere.

Pros

You learn a lot about the M365 platform and the training for a novice is robust enough to do the job. Additionally, certifications are reimbursed. Healthy work culture at the team +2 levels and the benefits and bonuses were there to incentivize hard work and efficiency.

Cons

Lack of foresight. The company did not diversify their business lines, instead opting for an "eggs in one basket" approach, resulting in a collapse when their partnership fell through. KPI metrics and workloads for the roles and compensation were often unrealistic, along with a leadership unable to rapidly adjust to warning signs.
