Pros
The best pay among all the NGOs - but wait...
Cons
The workplace as a whole provides no support to staff; there are investigation/allegation policies but no procedures, so watch out. They only care about appeasing the customer's/clients guardians, and if you make a complain about a team leader or their "friends", the manager will disregard everything you said and punish you for it. They use hearsay/gossip as a mean to pseudo-manage their staff, imply empty threats. The service leaders and managers are like a protected species. So much gossip. So much politics. They also cover up so much of what shouldve been reported incidents. They LIE, they imply threats to your employment, they use hearsay as evidence and use it against you if you dont play by THEIR "rules". They have VERY GOOD employment lawyers. They couldnt fire me so they mounted FALSE allegations on the daily, and i refused to attend the allegations meetings based on FACTUAL lies, so i submitted my resignation. Allegations immediately stopped. Oh and ZERO work/life balanace..LOTS of coersion, lots and lots of gaslighting. Words speak louder than actions. I didnt realise how much of my parental life was occupied until i resigned. After sacrificing so much for 2 years of thankless, dedicated, hardwork. Overworked and unappreciated. I managed to do some damage control in my parenting. Theres a reason that the pay is the best among all NGOs.
