Pros
Opportunity to make good money (900-1500$ a week) utilizing high pressure and very gimmicky sales techniques. However when the big money jobs arent there, neither is the money, and neither is the company.
Cons
The atmosphere is "make us money or you're fired" Managment will lie to its employees to get what it wants. You're just a number here. I was prommised a 401k and health-care as well as a schedule i would pick and a few other "pie in the sky" bonuses upon hire. They will tell you that you will never have to dig or be on-call. NONE of this is true. You will run calls untill you either hit the 1500$ a day quota or they run out of calls (that happens a lot too). The turnover rate at this company is the highest I've ever seen. They don't even require plumbing experience to work as a service plumber. Isn't that incredible!? I trained a guy who had only worked as a handyman and a mover, he was a smooth talker though. A friendly guy who fancied himself a salesman. He was in a van "fixing" people's plumbing in 2 weeks. Guy didnt even know how to solder. You cant retire here, you cant be comfortable here. However you can make money here. As long as you can consistently take customers for everything they are worth. But you better have all your own equipment to do it. They will provide you with a van and 2 snakes. Thats it. You better have cash in your account for everything from ladders to drop cords because they don't provide it. Not even truck stock, not one scrap of pipe, not one roll of Teflon. In closing. Ive worked for sales based companies before but this one is to be avoided. Good luck out there.
