Pros

Good salary, travel, decent benefits, movie screenings, free birthday cakes. Won't go bust anytime soon.

Cons

A good job earns a 20 secs pat on the back. A mistake leads to a 20 mins long yelling at you session. A pressure-cooker environment, so there is no time for wishy-washy. 1 min late and you are dead. Arguments not uncommon between staff, sometimes it gets so loud you wish you were not there. You will love this place if you love working with sarcastic, self-absorb, dismissive, needy, micromanaging, difficult (and purposefully out to get you) and hypocritical people who will waste your time and your patience. Trying your best is not good enough and will still earn an expletive earful from the boss. Everyone is stressed to the point where polite social behavior is forgotten. You are expected to turn in your work regardless of your health or family commitments. Google search Mark Day sues MPA.

Pros

An absolutely wonderful environment for a summer internship. Everyone is so kind and friendly and an intern can really a hands on look at the issues affecting the film industry. The pay is solid and the office is very cool.

Cons

None that I can think of!
