Pros
The school is a delight. It is very, very, very hard work and the pressure is hard. Parents are reasonable but there have been occasions where they have been allowed to bully staff. There is a strong solidarity between the SLT and the rest of the staff ( with the exception of the Head who has no loyalty from the staff and no one trusts.) The academic performance of the children is not that of an elite school, but they are bright, hardworking and diligent. Sport plays a big part in school life and competition is encouraged. There is a good link between the school and the local community, there is a solid long term investment in the school, and I am proud to work here.
Cons
I agree with the other review about the head. It is a scandal they are still in post considering recent conduct. Everyone who works here knows exactly what that means, and I would encourage everyone of my colleagues to also write a review until he has left.
