Pros

My team members (devs) were great but they all quit too. The data team at least always seemed to have it together, nice guys.

Cons

First of all, it's pretty clear that all four of the previous reviews were written by the same person and are not real. That in itself tells you almost everything you need to know about this company. Management for the software development is extremely poor, with an appalling lack of knowledge of the field and thus no direction and vision. The developers in particular are treated with no respect. Your opinion doesn't matter, deadlines that they have known about for weeks are thrown on you at the last minute -- and you are expected to stay late to compensate for their lack of competence. The lack of technical knowledge means that all the talent and hard work goes unnoticed and the people who talk the loudest/complain the most are the ones who are rewarded despite knowing absolutely nothing. Features seem to be added arbitrarily and feel completely useless. The work environment itself is extremely toxic. Not only did the management treat me with no respect, lies are told to justify poor performance. If you want to get ahead at Motorleaf, forget talent and just start making stuff up about your coworkers. I am used to politics in the workplace, but have never before heard so many audacious lies to try and cover up complete ineptitude. I put a lot of work into this company, showing up early and working on my own time to try to perfect things. I made major changes to the code base that went completely unacknowledged. I was belittled and treated with constant disrespect, to the point where I did not even receive a goodbye on my last day. I have never seen such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism in my entire career.

Groundbreaking a new industry can be quite challenging and one needs to be able to roll with what gets thrown their way.
