Pros

It's a foot in the door and will open up opportunities within recruitment or HR. Depending on your team, you will work with people who will coach you and help you along the way. I was fortunate to work on a team that supported me, most of the time. They will help you get clients, pass roles to you and ultimately support your career and growth. If you're into business development and pure sales, then this role is for you. As other's have said, this is a high pressure environment, sales driven and your job will be determined by the number of deals/placements you do. It will also provide you the opportunity to network and really help people get a job. If you work hard and enjoy this type of role, you will move up quickly and will earn a lot of money (it's true).

Cons

Sales environment will come with stress, pressure, demands and cold calling. If you can't manage these, it will lead to burn out. There are office politics and unethical behavior at times. At times, it will feel like you are in a frat house. At the end of day, its how you make use of this opportunity. Learn as much as possible and take your skills elsewhere.

Cons

Only con was it took a while to finally start the job, but that wasn't Motion's fault.

Pros

- Free Bagels - Good training

Cons

Pay is far below what the role demands. Management is unprofessional and sets unrealistic expectations with little recognition or reward. No commission is paid until 10 full-time placements are made. Health insurance benefits are poor. A culture of bullying is tolerated and goes unaddressed. Employees are encouraged to mislead candidates and use their personal information to generate more sales, which raises serious ethical concerns.
