Pros
Hire employees without prior experience but don’t provide them with required resources and training. This affects the workout.
Cons
Here it goes: 1. This company has terrible work culture with no team structure which results in constant resignation of employees and no employee retention. They follow hiring and firing hence, no team building and work collaboration. 2. Employees are either not given laptops/systems or forced to work on systems which doesn’t function properly. The request for one might take even years to get approved! Some never get it. 3. There is lot of discrimination within the company in terms of giving favours to some while promoting irrelevant work culture ethics. 4. The company tries to take advantage of its employees by addressing them as 'family' so that fair employment rights and requirements can be ignored in terms of resources, pay scale, benefits, etc. 5. Many positions are just there for the sake of it because a company must have those. One of those is Human Resource(HR). The HR has no say and is not capable of taking any call on its own, can’t roll out policies, rules or management related issues. 6. The HR has been often spotted addressing people basis their surname and community while making judgements on the sort of food they consume (Vegetarian and non vegetarian ). 7. They don’t allow footwear inside(even during pandemic) and refuse to provide a proper seating place outside the gate for people to sit and wear their shoes/sandals/etc. Female employees has specially flagged the issues they face due to this and has explained how uncomfortable it is for them. 8. The entire office runs without AC expect for the founders (so much for being the 'family'), even in summers. They don’t provide you with basic facilities of a fridge and microwave to have drinking water, store food and to heat up. Horrible hygiene and cleanliness. 9. The Covid crisis: Several employees were tested positive while working from the office. They requested WFH once they suspected the symptoms but were not given any which resulted in spread of the same in the office. Post that also, no sanitisation was done. (PS: the office is in a building which uses one common elevator with other offices, single washrooms within the office) and no one was informed, neither the building was sealed. They didn’t not give paid leaves to anyone neither did they pay for testing. The co-founders and HR displayed a very immature behaviour during the pandemic spike. 10. The company is biased to an extent where they will agree to drop a female employee from a certain project because the client was not happy getting counter response from a female who is comparatively young in age. The company take no stand regarding how the client treats and interacts with their employees. Till date no one knows who heads the POSH committee, no annual training, no third party consultant or facilitator. 11. You will find lots of reviews with 4/5 stars, I can guarantee they are posted by the employees who were asked to do so by constantly pocking them for the same and specifically being told to provide good ratings!
