Pros

The shop is located round the corner from at least 4 pubs. You will need a stiff drink after an hour working here.

Cons

The emphasis on sharing the history of the brand to every person that walks into the shop makes you feel like you’re recruiting new members of a cult. Not even one of the good ones, like Scientology. This is appropriate as the guy I worked with a lot was a member of the Freemasons. He most likely needed the help of other people as he certainly seemed to have a personality disorder. The 3 ‘directors’ have a terribly overstated sense of importance, being handed a shop with an already established history makes it easier for them to concentrate on their image and who they would like to be. They seem to be looking for the ‘right’ person to come along. Most likely someone who can tolerate the inordinate amount of pretension that oozes out of those constricted walls.

Pros

I have worked for major luxury brands with responsibility for national and international distribution. So I write this as someone with vast experience. MOSCOT offers a collaborative working environment with full support of ownership. Opinions are sought out and taken into consideration when decisions are made. Great working environment which is evident by the many employees who have been with the company double digit years.

Cons

Need for more space to accommodate growth.
