Pros

This company has a few great people that you'll really come to love and appreciate working with.

Cons

Where to begin - it's a mess. Absolutely do not take a job here. Management is all over the place - there is no true leader. Client management and control doesn't exist, and it's all about getting as much work out the door as possible. Don't expect to have any sort of life outside of work, and they will tell you that. Stress is out of control and crying/breakdowns occur on a daily basis. Unfortunately, no one cares. The turnover rate at this place is unheard of. On average, people will last about 4-6 months. The constant turnover allows for even more chaos with trying to bring new employees up to speed all the time. Which in turn doesn't allow proper training for the employees. Which in turn leads to stress and frustration. Which in turn leads to people quitting. And the process starts all over again. I would like to say that management realizes this and is working to fix the issue, however, they're too out of control to A.) have time to care B.) realize what's actually happening within the company C.) acknowledge the true issue lies within upper management. If you're thinking about working here, please consider other options to save yourself the 4-6 months that you'll lose before ultimately getting a new job anyways.

Pros

Extremely useful for learning the different faces on an advertising company and understand what it means to be part of a team. I learned multitasking, organizational, and creative skills that will help me in the future.

Cons

Environment can prove stagnant after a while.

Pros

It's located in a beautiful part of the Texas Hill Country

Cons

There are so many problems. Too many to even list here, but I'll attempt to be brief. The senior management and owner only cares about keeping the wool over employees eyes. Lots of false promises and empty jargon to appear like its a real agency that cares. The only reason clients are still there is because the company relies mostly on "friendships" with their clients, rather than doing innovative or great work. The president and her senior staff uses scare tactics of horrible agency "stories" to create fear of employees leaving, rather than building a culture to retain good talent, therefore producing respectable work as a real advertising agency. The company grew WAY too fast without experience or qualified people and it shows in every process, department and account. Clients are misled into partnering with a innovative company in the casino and gaming market, only to discover that MOSAK is so far behind the curve of technology that they're waiting for the coming of the DOT COM BOOM (which happened over a decade ago). When employees seek or demand better engagement, support or direction from leaders, it is seen as a threat. Personal feelings and business experience should never mix. Business is business. At MOSAK, they are incestual.
