Working at Morrisons - Checkout Operator Morrisons Employee Review

Lousy pay - lowest of all the major supermarkets. Expected to work extremely hard. Senior management have no idea how to treat staff. Only get promotion if your face fits. Expected to work past shift finishing times with no extra pay. Expected to know how to do job with bare minimum, or in some cases no, training. Checkout staff treated as children, constantly having to get authorisation from harassed and overworked supervisors. No back-up from managers.
