Pros

Your guaranteed your 37 hrs and they stay your pay off with higher pay than most jobs.

Cons

They don't care anything about your health or immediate family illnesses that may keep you from work even for one day. I literally could not breathe at work after being to work for 10 on this day and was rushed to the emergency room that's inside the hospital that I'm employed at. I came in to work 2 days after to help another shift and when I came back on my regular shift I was told that I still had an occurrence for being rushed to the hospital and for not coming the following day with an excused absence from the doctor. I have never heard of such non sense on top of the favoritism and disrespect and the harsh way that they talk to their employees. They still didn't appreciate the fact that I came in to help another shift who didn't have any employees at all and I just came back from working 7 days with the same shift and to think all I get is a thank you I don't want to come in on schedule. The managers there act like children they talk to other employees about one another no one there shows anybody any respect and do not know how to talk to people I work with mostly older people so they talk to anyone younger than them like they're their own children at the end of the day anyone who is employed at this establishment is 18 or older therefore no one should be talked to like a child i'm in search of new employment as we speak and nothing is going to be done about this company I've never work for a company like this in my life who doesn't care about anyone's health or personal problems at end of the day I still come to work every day and stay there for 12 hours or more and no one cares

Pros

flexible schedule. unlimited PTO. never a shortage of work. if you work for a unit with a good manager, that's all you need,

Cons

the flexible schedule is also a con. they call you at 6 am and 11 pm about things that can absolutely wait. the unlimited PTO is also a con, they do this so they don't have to pay you out when you leave or remove you, they also don't really let you take off as much time as you want. upper management, the VPs and DPs are nightmares. terrible people that are totally disconnected from the mission and the "corporate culture." they push acceptance at the unit level, and then upper leadership doesn't listen to it at all. The VPS and presidents like to take the CEO out drinking and they all love to party.
