      Some staff care. Most don’t.

      4 years of dedication I’m healthcare at a large facility in Charlotte. Through he indelicate and staffing issues galore. Senior management is absolutely clueless about boots on the ground issues, favoritism, wrongful termination, ridiculous write-ups, not to mention the clear lack of direction and foresight. HR is just as bad. Depending on who you talk to policy changes. I’ve made some relationships but no matter it always falls to the unit directors and system people who are so out of touch with daily operations it almost insulting.

      flexible schedule. unlimited PTO. never a shortage of work. if you work for a unit with a good manager, that's all you need,

      the flexible schedule is also a con. they call you at 6 am and 11 pm about things that can absolutely wait. the unlimited PTO is also a con, they do this so they don't have to pay you out when you leave or remove you, they also don't really let you take off as much time as you want. upper management, the VPs and DPs are nightmares. terrible people that are totally disconnected from the mission and the "corporate culture." they push acceptance at the unit level, and then upper leadership doesn't listen to it at all. The VPS and presidents like to take the CEO out drinking and they all love to party.
