Pros
There are no pros to working here
Cons
They work off of a point system. You only get five points for the year before you get written up. That includes call offs and tardy or leaving early. You get one point for call offs and a half a point for leaving early or coming in tardy. I’m already at five points as of March because my child got sick, I came in late one day because of a flat tire and another day I left early because I had a migraine. If you are parent, it’s almost impossible to work here! If you get to six points, you get written up.
Also, You earn six hours of PTO as a new employee per pay period, but it’s impossible to use it. They only allow three people per day to be off. That includes all of the clinical staff, RN, LPN, MA, etc. Normal companies, you submit your request off to your Manager. At Morris Hospital, they have a whole department that you submit your time off request to they decide who gets off And they play favorites. For example, I requested the week before Christmas off to go visit family. They only approved 3 days, and they weren't consecutive days. So I had a random Monday, Tuesday and Thursday off. Its not possible to plan vacations due to this reason. My coworker planned a cruise in the middle of summer, and she requested off as early as they possibly allow, she only got 2 of the days approved and ended up quitting.
