Pros

Very laidback management. The IT Director is very laid back and very knowledgeable around the car business and IT in general. Worked with all employees in the company including C Suite staff. The perks for being in the IT job here are awesome: Company vehicle (if you're full time) and a company cellphone. They're very open with experimenting, so if you're new and want to be very hands on this is definitely the place. My tenure at Moritz was wholesome, gained a lot of experience here. They took me in while i was still in college. Will always be grateful for this company and the opportunity that was given.

Cons

Need to be up to par with the industry wage. Felt i was a bit underpaid but having perks was definitely worth it (company truck and cellphone). Other IT personnel being very restricting for others to learn. IT director was open to share everything about anything. The people that worked under him sadly weren't. Felt like i was gatekept alot of the IT stuff do to this. IT staff (not IT Manager) being very micro observant. Felt like i wasn't trusted by other IT personnel. There was certain stuff we didn't have access to because they didn't want to (on the IT side of things), so that made our job a bit hard when people would call in or not show up. The way GMs for the stores need to be more careful how they talk to IT staff. I felt talked down to a lot of the times by mostly all stores managers (including service managers). This didn't bother me cause I have thick skin, but it did make a guy that had 40 years of experience quit because it was too much for him.
