Pros

Worked on a great team; only a few people which was nice, got to know my team better than previous internships. Lunch everyday from seamless - gave us a budget of 10 or 12 dollars (don't recall exactly) to order from a couple options they provided. Saved me a lot of money considering I was on an intern salary. Gave me a good understanding of the hospitality industry rather than just the department I was in - since I was an intern at the corporate headquarters I requested to shadow other departments on the ground at the hotels which was a very helpful experience.

Cons

Sometimes felt like I didn't have enough to do - but that's just a symptom of being an intern in general in my experience. Payment system was rough -- they don't pay their interns on a biweekly basis, but rather in a lump sum at the end of the summer. Wasn't that huge of a deal since I fortunately had savings to support myself. I am not from New York City originally, nor did I attend school there, so I had to pay for housing, meals, etc. out of pocket and hope that I'd made enough by the end of the summer after taxes to cover what I'd spent. Pay wasn't so great either - $10/hour in New York City doesn't get you far.
