Pros
Nice offices, breakrooms, and travel expenses. Mostly wonderful people that you interact with, good benefits.
Cons
Absolutely do not reward hard work financially. Professional staff that go above and beyond year after year, hardly a notice. Constantly losing key talent and professional staff because of this. Firm chair is like she's running for office, constantly barraged with left wing propaganda. Emails galore about this committee and that committee, and this initiative and that initiative that directly assault Christian values. She should learn to stay away from politics. A firm that's afraid to fire chronically incompetent managers because of protected classes, making their direct reports suffer, leave, and ultimately hurting the firm.
