Pros

- jewish holidays - some very friendly co-workers - paid off vacation days

Cons

- Poor middle management; - The un-professional manager can't provide consistent and professional guidance; plays office politics tricks towards co-workers and passes the buck; - Micromanagement in order to secure own position; - Unprofessional attitude toward employees; - Not a place to grow or gain much experience.

Pros

Holidays / Jewish Holidays, PTO/ occasional free samples

Cons

This company is financially mismanaged, there are a ton of redundancies in many of the jobs, Moret spreads itself very thin in a lot of failed brands, and as a result they have cut back on nearly every normal benefit a company of this size should offer employees, competitive benefits, standard cost of living increases, 401k match ect. The CEO makes an embarrassing gesture at the end of the year holiday party by giving away some high priced raffle prizes, as if this is any consolation for being short-changed in every way all year, not to mention insulting, at the very least exclude senior execs from entering. Decades behind in tech and resistant to innovations relies on outdated process and unwilling to modernize for efficiency, google docs, project management software ect. There are a large number of highly underqualified people doing the same job, the person in my department didn't know how to use basic excel and relied on pen and paper for most things tech could accomplish. CFO totally out of touch with employees and a walking contradiction, wants everyone to be friendly yet consistently axing people from there roles with little to no regard. If you want complacency and no upward mobility then this is the place for you, otherwise, resign yourself that this is where careers go to die.
