Used to be a great place to work. - Support Coordinator Morc Employee Review

Pros

Ability to telecommute, make your own schedule. Great retirement benefits. Because they are so consistently short-staffed, it would probably be very hard to get fired.

Cons

The mission of the agency has been lost and its future is uncertain. Due to job guidelines, there is no way to avoid excessive night and weekend work. If you have children or other personal commitments it will be very hard to do this job. Management is top heavy and continues to pile on unreasonable demands to the lower level workers. The amount of 'Vice Presidents' they have is obscene.

Pros

Great field to gain experience in. Good benefits for full-time employees (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.) Generous paid time off. Generous pay raises within 1st year at the autism clinics. MORC is an overall good company to work for, it just lacks in the autism department.

Cons

Communication between upper management and the autism clinic is lacking. Management within the autism clinic plays favorites. There is a cap on pay, with little room to advance further than a technician position. Management has been known to "hire bodies" rather than wait for quality ABA technicians to come along. Lack of male employees in the autism clinics (think: 20+ college aged girls complaining and gossiping all the time.) High burnout rate and turnover rate, so it is constantly a revolving door of technicians.
