Pros

The product space is amazing. The promise to do some cool work is there but...

Cons

It's completely drowned out by the management team. Angry outbursts were a near-daily occurrence when I left. Founders were often shouting at each other or at other employees over even the smallest things. Company transparency is also severely lacking. No sharing of key metrics, no analytics, no praise for accomplishments. Hell, hardly even a recognition of someone's birthday. Expected us to eat at our desks, which were all contained in one tiny room, while continuing to work. There are countless better start up examples out there. Thankfully this one didn't spoil them all for me.

Pros

Get to work with really amazing talent who is capable of creating really amazing work.

Cons

*Extremely toxic and hostile work environment *Poor leadership (constantly arguing among CEO & Cofounder) (they're husband and wife btw) *information silo-ing and a high degree of manipulating language barriers and chain of command in order to achieve a very specific outcome *outcomes guided by internal decisions and in no way reflect desires of market or any semblance of business analysis *clear lack of experience across the board for all employees including founders (literally no idea what is happening, constant shifting goal post week to week) *no clear long term vision (tasks and focus change weekly seemingly for no reason) *Downright hostile work environment where approaches and ideas are ostracized and only uniformity of thought is bred. *High degree of micro-management and constant predatory oversight..zero work life balance or boundaries from management (expect to get calls at 3am because the CEO has a new idea) *CEO threw a chair at me during a meeting .
