Pros
good pay, free stuff occasionally, some amazing people ( rare but when you find them they will help you cope ) , one or two of the higher members of staff are helpful and will actually treat you like a human rather than a number or a pair of hands, shift pattern is good
Cons
constantly feels like you’re treading on eggshells trying not to be criticised. make you feel as if you cannot leave your area to go to the toilet/get a drink at risk of passive aggressiveness from team leaders/management. constant pressure to hit targets although targets set are unfair when other members of staff take all the easier work, meaning they have high rates while others are left to do the harder work, then somehow they are the ones being hounded for being slow? favouritism is extremely obvious, some staff members able to get away with everything while others are made out to be terrible for literally no reason, there is a bully culture where some people make others feel insignificant and intimidated daily and nothing is ever done to stop this, people have even felt unsafe at times due to the way specific people have spoken to them. end of shifts are stressful and unorganised, we were often rushing through hundreds of orders last minute and they seem to always be pushed on certain members of staff to do , multiple occasions of singular people being given all the work while others just stood around watching them struggle, or just leave early. would not recommend at all.
