Pros

A talented team, team retreats, being able to work from home, working on games like Ori that will get you hired at a better studio.

Cons

Bullying, over work, CEO calling at 4am because you’re not at your desk, stress, burn out, verbal abuse, high turn over of staff, low morale, having your work publicly mocked in companywide meetings. Staff members yelling and threatening their children while in calls with teams.

Pros

Projects are great, community gives moon only love.

Cons

Co -Founders are great at smiling at the camera, but they are pure toxicity, I've witnessed shipping with them now for the first time, and its not pretty, they don't hesitate throwing everyone under the bus to hide their utter lack of planning and organizational skills, They talk s**t, really disgusting s**t to everyone, including to leads they themselves appointed, Constantly threaten to fire people, Then when they relax and ship something, they just post a global announcement of how everything is peachy and call it a day. Gennadiy is by far the more disgusting one, he really loves telling everyone how bad they are Enjoy the games but don't come close to this swamp

Pros

-You will work with amazing, talented people from all around the world -Fully remote -High quality bar -Small team means you are very close to all aspects of the project

Cons

-The environment at Moon is very toxic. Studio leadership often doesn't know what they want but will berate and/or work employees until they get good results. -Not only is there crunch but there is an environment in which having an actual work life balance is frowned upon. - Very high turnover rate. Few people stick around past projects. Their MO is that they burn through talent and then replace them with aggressive recruiting tactics -Lots of time in meetings wasted with very unprofessional and immature arguing, to put it lightly.
