Pros

Our former supervisor was always very attentive with employees and well spoken and always cared to listen to you. The company looks amazing from an outside perspective, but it has more cons than pros. Once that former supervisor left, they hired a manager to takeover our supervisors role and that's when the moral changed.

Cons

When the new manager started the change in culture was immediate. Your opinions did not matter, you cannot question certain methods, and when you did make suggestions your facts were invalid even though there are more than a dozen facts through the web & books. -You are treated as if you do not comprehend the work and get talked to as if you are a child. -Company is out dated, old equipment, and no will to improve the company as a whole. -No initiative to train and motivate workers. - No job security, you are always worried if you are going to have a secure job the next day. -You cannot speak your mind or else you are going against company policies especially if you are speaking facts for improvement. -A single mistake will be taken out of contexts and you will be targeted as the person to watch from upper management and department managers/supervisors.

Pros

Projects such as AWPF, GWR, CSIP serve the community and are cool to be a part of. Co-workers are friendly, collaborative, attentive, and make it worth it. These people are the only thing keeping this review from being 1 star. Working here is seemingly a good resume builder.

Cons

upper-management is quick to blame employees for high turnover and everything else that's wrong with the agency, yet fail to acknowledge their own shortcomings and admit that their wrongdoings are what's contributing to employee dissatisfaction. Agency refuses to negotiate fairly with employees. Any complaints may as well go in the trash can. Upper-management boasts about the agency being the best due to our innovative projects, but is comfortable paying employees below-standard pay and act shocked when employees leave. Little opportunity to promote within agency as executives think hiring mid-management from outside agencies will "fix" everything, then act surprised when managers leave after a year or two of discovering what a dumpster fire this agency really is.
