Great career development opportunities. Enjoyable community of fitness professionals. Ability to plan events and grow a following.
Cons
Maximum pay is 1/4 to 1/2 what you’d make teaching off campus. Marketing was not always up to par for events. You are expected to attend week long training, which is filled with helpful information, but difficult/ impossible if you work elsewhere. As a student, no real room for advancement within the fitness dept.
