Pros

It's a culture of highly technical experts focused on going further into the details than most other firms. This is why so many clients stay with Moneta long-term.

Cons

Coming to Moneta from another firm can require a fair amount of retraining to be able to handle the expectations of large clients, but it's also good training for a career.

Pros

Great people, if you find the right team can really be a good work environment and great work/life balance

Cons

Gotten bigger over the years so it’s harder to know everyone you don’t work with directly anymore

Pros

Great Perks - random free lunches, lawn game tournaments, prizes of PTO. Insurance, 401k options, etc are high quality. 401k matching starts quick, not remarkably high match though. Easy to change departments or positions, so growth is wide open. Depending on your position, pay can be somewhat low to market comparable.

Cons

4 days in office required. No included financial advice despite being a financial company. Bonuses are small. Management is hyper fixated on growth. They are rushing changes to current systems, processes, and personnel goals. Your progress is judged on future goals so it's impossible to feel successful. Most middle managers have been promoted to executives. That means it's progressively harder to get information, help, meetings scheduled with your direct supervisor. Executives often have meetings without all relevant parties. There are constant side meetings for executives and the actual doers are left catching up on their own and filling in the gaps.
