Pros

Great Business...makes more money by accident than on purpose. Huge investment dollars dumped into polishing the aging infrastructural. Could certainly be a thriving Business if a major restructuring of management was done.

Cons

GE didn't leave their best and brightest in charge then pull the plug on this Business. The new owners used the management left behind by GE and like a swarm of locust they ate the farmers field all the while blaming the crop failure on the people that grew it. It has become more of a Monarchy than a Business with nepotism insuring that nothing changes. Barely out of Bankruptcy and our debt is again over a billion. Skill sets are ignored with the new management friends and family plan.

Pros

Friendly colleagues and flexible hours.

Cons

As an international company with employees working in different time zones, it sometimes gets difficult to communicate with colleagues. This may sometimes lead to unusual office hours.

Pros

I'm one week into my journey at Momentive Performance Materials, and I couldn't be happier with how things have started. The onboarding process has been incredibly smooth—well-organized, supportive, and thoughtfully paced. I’ve transitioned from my previous role without feeling overwhelmed or anxious, which speaks volumes about the culture here. The corporate HQ is a fantastic place to work. My desk setup is comfortable and well-equipped, and the environment is clean, modern, and welcoming. Everyone I've met so far has been warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. There's a real sense of community and collaboration. Bonus points for the cafeteria—it offers good food and a nice space to recharge during the day. Overall, I’m excited about what’s ahead and feel confident I’ve joined a company that values its people and sets them up for success.

Cons

Coming from a hybrid work environment, I initially had some hesitation about being on-site five days a week. However, it’s actually been a refreshing change. Being at corporate HQ has helped me build relationships faster, get face time with colleagues, and feel more connected to the company culture. The workspace is comfortable, the people are welcoming, and the cafeteria is a great perk—it’s made the transition smoother than I expected.
