      Coworkers are all nice people, but the spikes with covid variants increase work loads due to this being a covid centric business

      Cons

      The company was just "invested in" and there is a lot of confusion in the upper management sections. also the sales team expects you to materialize inventory from nothing

      Thanks for your feedback. We agree - our coworkers are incredible. Because our organization has been on the frontlines of COVID testing, that has meant an increased workload for many. As a response, we have been actively hiring to grow the team and support the workload. In terms of the collaboration with Sales team - we will explore ways to optimize the internal communication.       Pros

      I really enjoyed working at MD. The people were fantastic and I really believed in the work we were doing, the new products we were developing, the overall vision of the company. Facilities were clean. Workload was reasonable.

      Cons

      It was devastating when they decided to cut my entire department from newly hired all the way up to the most senior members - all to meet the upcoming FY’s budget. No warning, no heads up. We just walked into work one day and found out we were being laid off. This was just a few weeks after we delivered a new, highly sought after product. I will say we did get the average severance settlement which was nice but it would’ve been nicer to not have been laid off.
