Pros

Working remote, semi-decent pay, Unlimited PTO- if your direct manager thinks you're allowed to have it.

Cons

Poor leadership across all channels. Was let go with zero explanation for "restructuring". Also they let me go as my sister was dying of cancer in hospice right before the holidays. Was told nothing was wrong with my performance at all. I was training a new person to do the same job I was doing (when we didn't really have the workload for new people) but she was younger, and getting paid at a lower pay grade, so I inquired if I should be looking for a new position and was told repeatedly by HR and my direct manager my job was not in jeopardy and they were just building the team. Then a month later and almost to my exact anniversary date was laid off with zero severance 4 days before the first of the month when my health benefits would expire so the company didn't have to pay an extra month of benefits. ModeSens then hired someone to do the same job I was doing the next week at a lower pay grade and younger. . Additionally, all the vendors we worked with - never knew who ModeSens was when we called regarding order issues. Micromanaging galore and managers / CEO who cant put together a complete sentence who try to proofread your work and give corrections that are incorrect. Company will probably go under within the year - avoid at all costs. No company culture

First I was promised paid lunches which never happened. Then I was accruing PTO as an hourly employee, when I took a vacation after working on every single Holiday during Q4 the payroll for that period did not go through until the last day of my vacation putting me in a financial hardship situation while on vacation. At the same time they switched me over to the unlimited PTO plan that the rest of the company was on. Unlimited PTO is a scam I used 3 days and they approved me for another 6 days of PTO and fired me right beforehand. Zero equipment provided, zero company culture, zero growth, or learning opportunities, zero third party integrations, no marketing or data teams, horrible leadership, horrible management, zero feedback. Positive feedback was only offered verbally, and everything written was skewed to be negative. Hired me as CX associate and had me doing SEO projects by the end.
