Pros

If you're trying to pivot into insurance, they'll hire you with minimal/no direct experience. Moda provides full remote work set up.

Cons

Incredibly low wages. New employees are eligible for health insurance after 90 days of employment (almost four months if you start at the beginning of the month, yikes!). Employees are all brand new or have been at the company for 10-30+ years. Lack of culture for remote employees, leading to building no rapport or support from your manager or leads. Lack of support - if you have a question about anything you're on your own.

Pros

Stable company and management with low turnover and very good work life balance. Pay is not too bad, but primarily the good parts of Moda are about the stability. Part of the reason Moda is stable is because you can move around the colony and get promoted. There are people who have worked here for decades. This is a company that retains its people.

Cons

The pay isn’t as high as companies that tend to be less stable. For me the trade off is good, as my sanity is preserved.
