Pros

Learning opportunities are high; Good ideas to implement from Leaders

Cons

Good Ideas which are coming from leaders to implement are not achievable because expecting to do everything in same time is inhumane expectation. Every now and then the something new priorities comes up as an urgent task. Everything is urgent, no prioritization from the heads. They agree to everything which is been asked by management and trouble us to extend and work. Heads should know what are we doing every month they come up with new task to complete in short period and expected to work extended hours. This company is becoming “Toxic”; expectation is to work for more than 8 hours and not considerate to check who is delivering more and who is idle with less work. Asking employees to work more than 8 hours is not legally approved in India however some of them are already giving more than 10 hours daily. No mechanism to identify the workload of each person, the member who delivers more is assigned more tasks and pushed to the limit of mental stress. Prohance tool has been installed and marketed as productivity tool; which is utter nonsense; we being Engineers understand the difference between monitoring tools and productivity tools, So “STOP FOOLING” employees. “WAKE UP HR” we are watching. HR team is “USELESS”, filled with people who have no sense of employee connect. They work like government organizations making us run around to each cubicle in HR for any clarifications. Recruitment was going good for certain period now its mess; everyone acts like a boss & no one is good to be called a recruiter. HR teams’ communication is Bad; Our referred candidates make fun of the English used by Recruiters. If you reach out to them for any information they are rude while answering . Referrals are not given utmost preference. When followed up, one liner thrown as position is closed after 2 to 3 weeks of follow-up in bossy language. We take all the heat of working after office hours – HR enjoys eating and laughing loudly which are not productive discussions and every day is a Snack Day in HR; We wish we also eat and laugh out loud without working still showing extra hours. There is lot of biasedness in the HR team to address queries, If you belong to their state/language your query gets resolved in few seconds; or else God save you until you get clarity. Be happy to be from Orissa to get easy entry pass to all HR programs. God save this company for the culture it is building – it is not professional anymore; Company is moving to be gaming based company culture with no dress code – we don’t want dress code but at least wear decent clothing – I have seen some senior most people wearing short shirts; baggy pants and very short skirts – which is not culture Mobily was following. HR/Seniors/Leaders should be role models in everything. Culture Change is accepted when it gives positive vibe; and does not create mocking culture.

Pros

Nice people to work with, no work overloads, work-life balance, good management.

Cons

A monitoring system that requires you to stay in front of your laptop for 8 hours even if there are no tasks. No profit sharing. Career growth is pretty harsh and hard here, and mostly will never happen, as if you are good at something, they will fixed you for it.

Pros

The actual work is solid: Role clarity is good and the leadership actually knows where the company is going. My immediate team and manager are supportive. WFH is a lifesaver: Most of us prefer working from home because it’s just a better experience. You can actually focus on your tasks without dealing with the office "vibe" which is currently pretty off. Good Tech/Project Vision: The engineering side and other departments are actually responsive and get things done.

Cons

Recruitment is incredibly rude: From the very first interview, it felt like they were doing me a huge favor by even talking to me. The recruiters sound arrogant and the junior team members who interview you don't seem to know what's going on or how to treat candidates. Unresponsive and Short: If you have a query during the process, good luck getting an answer. You have to follow up five times just to get a response that’s usually short, rude, and honestly feels a bit discriminatory. The "Outsourcing" Vibe: Even though we’re supposed to be a high-end capability center, the recruitment team treats us like we’re just replaceable "resources" in an old-school outsourcing shop. They don't seem to value talent at all. Avoidance Culture: It’s gotten to the point where people are hesitant to even refer friends because the recruitment experience is so bad. They used to at least try to connect with people; now it feels like dealing with a wall.
